A short time later a small piece of aluminium. Must be on the right track.
The pieces were getting larger and more interesting as I climbed higher.
This is some kind of heat exchanger, but not sure for what??
A wind driven hydraulic pump.
The back side showing the hydraulic pump.
This is a cool looking piece. No idea what part of the plane it's from.
At about 1,200' I came upon a choice piece, a large part of the aircraft's engine.
It's most of the Pratt & Whitney J-57-P-21 engine that powered the ill fated Super Sabre.
Close up of some of the bent blades.
