Noticed an opening on the leading edge in front of the wing walk.
Think it's the fuel filler with the door and cap missing.
After checking out the large sections, I starting looking at the small pieces scattered around.
Found a few pieces from the windows.
Part of the exhaust system.
Another piece from the exhaust. There wasn't many small pieces at the site.
Last look at the crash site as I start the hike back to the truck.
Hiking down the slope I could see Lake Mary which is one of the many lakes that are in the Mammoth Lakes area.
Coming up on the dead zone again.
Back at Horseshoe Lake. Was happy to find the crash site on this trip, it turned out to be a much more interesting site than I expected.
