The nose gear was on the rocks nearby.
Tail end of the canopy. The bar attached to it has and flat gear on it. Must be part of the mechanism that opens and closes the canopy.
Part of the frame to the windsheid of the canopy.
Less than a hundred feet away was the tail.
Was surprised to find the tail in such good shape. There is a lot more stuff here. Looks like most of the Banshee is at the site.
Overall view of the crash site. I don't know now this plane crashed, but looks like the left wing came off in the air. It's about a quarted mile away.
Another view of the tail. The right stab made it through the crash with only a dent on the leading edge.
Dent on the leading edge, nose wheel and counter balance for the elevator.
