We hiked up to Wildrose Peak on Saturday. Sunday before driving home we decided to try climbing Manly Beacon. Wildrose Peak was an okay hike, but Manly Beacon was much more fun with great scenery.

At Zabriskie Point. Yesterday we hiked to the top of Wildrose Peak, today's plan is to climb Manly Beacon, the pointy one. It was going to be a short hike, but we weren't sure we would be able to make it to the peak.
Zoomed in on the peak. I been to Zabriskie Point many times, the main thing I always remembered about it was Manly Beacon. Really happy that we are about to climb it. We tried it last month, but got rained out.
Group shot at the start of the hike.
Heading off to Manly. The colors here make this one of my favorite areas of Death Valley. The brown formation of the right is Red Cathedral
A sign warning about the dangers of mines. Hope we come across one, I like mines.
Great colors and shapes in the area. I'm starting to love Death Valley.
Getting closer to our goal.
From here we were trying to figure out how to approach the peak. It's a maze of hills between us and the it.
We followed a small side wash off the main canyon. This lead us to a ridge that we could use to get up to the main ridge of Manly
This is where we started up to reach the main ridge that leads to the peak.
