Drove up the Goler Wash 4x4 road to Russell Camp where I meet up with Sooz and John for the hike to Manly Peak. The next day we hiked up Striped Butte before driving out on the Warm Springs Canyon Road.
On the road to Ballarat. Looking east at the south end of the Panamint Mountains. Heading to Russell Camp where I'll meet up with Sooz and John tomorrow morning for a hike to Manly Peak.

Approaching Mengel Pass. Goler Wash was a little rough in places, but no problem.
Just finshed the worse section of road which was coming down from the pass. Banged the truck's frame on a rock coming down a steep rocky section. Striped Butte can be seen on the right.
Pulled in to Russell Camp at sunset. Ate dinner, watched a movie and went to sleep. John and Sooz should be here in the morning.
Sunrise Saturday, wasn't feeling well so went back to sleep. Meeting time is at 9:00am.

John and Sooz arrived at 8:00am so we checked out the place before starting the hike.
