Met Sooz and Bill at Olancha Friday afternoon. We did a short hike in the Coso Range before finding a place to camp for the night. The next morning we drove to Cactus Flat were we met up with Cori and Tom for the hike to Boulder Peak and Whitecap Mountain.

The Astro Artz Cabin. Last night we were sitting around the campfire when it starting raining. It was nice having the cabin here to hang out in till the showers ended.

After reaching Hwy 395, we drove the elven mile Cactus Flat dirt road to the start of the hike.
Our hike to Boulder Peak starts by climbing this draw to the saddle. When we parked here we heard someone calling to us from about half way up, it was Cori and Tom.
