Sunrise on the 10 Freeway on my way to the Twentynine Palms area to climb Sheephole Mountain.
Another freeway sunrise shot. I'm starting to get good at taking photos at 75 mph.

We met at the microwave tower just off the Amboy Road.
Ken, Kathy, Joe (me) and Shasta the dog at the start of the hike. After meeting, we drove a short way to get in closer to the canyon we planed to hike up.
The hike started by dropping down into a wash.
After going down the wash for about a 100 yards, we turned up this canyon.
A short way up the canyon we were on the rocks. Most of this hike was on the rocks.
Looking back down the canyon we are hiking up.
