It rained most of the way, but just before Palm Spings it stopped. Nice rainbow at the windmills.
Near the start of the hike to Carey's Castle. With ours maps and GPS we hoped to find it. It's location has been kept a secret thru the years to protect it from damage.

There were some nice rock formations in the canyon.
Trying to figure out the way to go. The canyon had a few forks in it.
After hunting around for a while we found Carey's mine, a vertical shaft covered with a grate.
