Kathy and Joe(me) at Humber Park the start of the hike at 6,700 feet. Even though Sam Fink Peak is only at 7,339 feet, this hike will have a 4,500 foot gain due to the ups and downs along the way. It will be about a 16 mile round trip.

Saddle Junction at 8,100 feet is the high point of the hike. Five trails meet here. We'll be heading towards Tahquitz Meadow next.
From Tahquitz Meadow we headed down to Laws Junction, a 1,000 foot lost.
