Joe(me) and Tom at the Cottonwood Lakes Trailhead at 10,000 feet. The plan is to hike to Owens Point, then on to Woollyback.
Looking for a place to leave the trail and head towards Owens Point.
A weather station near Golden Trout Camp. We decided to head to the camp and continue up a drainage heading northeast towards the peak.

We got a good view of Cirque Peak.
We came across a trail and followed it to this meadow.
The trail started heading away from our planed route. We crossed the meadow here to the start of the ridge we followed to trhe peak.
