On 5/28/77 this Beech C-45G N6065V crashed after having suffered a complete failure of the number one engine while landing causing a forced off airport landing ending with a collision with a pole and wires. The C-45 was on a flight from Davis, California to Beatty, Nevada.
The C-45 crashed while landing at the Fran's Star Ranch's private landing strip. The ranch later became Angel's Ladies.
Lot of the damage on the right wing tip. The fuselage struture just in front of the tail was also broken. Looks like it might have ground looped.
The leading ledge took a beating.
Looks like it was stripped for parts.
It doesn't look to bad from this side.
Damage on the rear of the fuselage.
Always liked the looks of these old planes.
Not much left in the cockpit.
