Was finding a lot of pieces from the canopies. I started at the end of the debris field and I'm making my way towards the impact area.

The first point of contact was out in the wash. There is very little remaining in the wash, but there are hundreds of tiny pieces all over this area, just up out of the wash.

Looking from the impact area in the direction of the debris field. Plan to check the area more carefully on the way back to the truck.

When a fist saw this wasn't sure what it was. Looking closer, I could see it was part of a melted parachute.

Same piece turned over. I think it might be from the braking chute. I've seen the heavy straps on other braking chutes.
