Kathy and Joe(me) at Humber Park the start of the hike at 6,700 feet. Even though Sam Fink Peak is only at 7,339 feet, this hike will have a 4,500 foot gain due to the ups and downs along the way. It will be about a 16 mile round trip.

Saddle Junction at 8,100 feet is the high point of the hike. Five trails meet here. We'll be heading towards Tahquitz Meadow next.
From Tahquitz Meadow we headed down to Laws Junction, a 1,000 foot lost.

From Laws Junction we headed to Caramba Camp for a 400 foot lost. There be a lot of uphill on the way out.

Almost to Caramba Camp and the end of the trail, we will have to find our own route to the peak.
Where are we??? We lost our way due to not being able to see the peak.

Lily Rock back at Humber Park. It was a fun hike. After all the derest hikes I been doing, it's nice to see trees and flowing water again.
