The big rock. The 2 guys by the rock are Dave and Roy. Met them on the pass and we climbed the peak together.
Almost to the first snow patch. They are hard to see, but there are 3 people up ahead.
The big rock is starting to look small.
Looking up ahead, almost caught up to the three other hikers. This was a great peak to climb. It has good rocks all the way to the summit.
Looking down from above the first snow patch.
When I caught up to the other group, one of them offered to take my pic.
Looking down on the group of three as I climb on. Two of the folks are from Pennsylvania and this is the first mountain that they ever climbed. They picked a good one.
Dave and Roy caught up to me. This was the steepest part of the climb.
This icy patch of snow was at around 13,000', half way to the peak.
Looking down on the lakes to the northwest.
