Driving out we came upon a group of cars, must be a bear!!!
It was a grizzly with a cub.
The view from our room the next morning. It was overcast. A nice change from the 90 degree temps from the day before. Today we are going to the Many Glacier area where we will spend our last night in the park.

Helen and me at Lake Sherburne. Photo taken by the friendly motorcycle folks.
Bear sign. We saw a total of 8 bears on this trip, most from a distance.
At the Many Glacier Hotel, we stayed here on our last night.
Our room was in the smaller section of the hotel on the left.
Inside the main lobby.
A view out the door to the balcony.
The first of a three shot view from the balcony.
Shot #2. That's Swiftcurrent Lake.
Shot #3 with the main section of the hotel. Helen actually spotted a bear on this slope using binoculars. Thought she was kidding till I saw it for myself. It was a black bear, the 8th and last bear we saw on this trip.
This dragonfly hit Helen in the head before landing here.
A warning sign at the start of the trail to Redrock Falls. The bears we saw never even looked up at us, they were to busy eating.
At the start of the hike.
The mountains are really green around here.
Some kind of beetle. This thing landed on my ear before flying into the grass.

Another view of the falls from higher up.

Looking across Redrock Lake.
On the way out we saw this squirrel, never seen this kind before.
A black bear.
A view of the hotel from across the lake as we return for the night.
After showers (nice having a room) we ate dinner at the hotel.
Sunset shot from our balcony. We both liked this hotel more than the first one. It was nice hanging out on the balcony at the end of the day. Awesome view!!!
The next morning, back on the Going To The Sun Road. Heading back to the Continental Divide. Photo by Helen

Helen on the Continental Divide.
Group of bighorn sheep. The animals around here showed no fear of people.
Helen and me on the divide.
Still on the Going To The Sun Road heading back to Kalispell for the flight home.
Helen boarding the plane for the flight back to Seattle.
The trip is almost over, it's a 1 1/2 hour flight back to Seattle.
There were lot of great looking clouds on the flight back to Seattle.
Flew over the Cascades, to bad it was so hazy. What little we could see looked great.
Back in Seattle, our next flight to LA should leave in about 2 hours.
Over four hours later we are still in Seattle!!! Our plane is late. We toured the airport, ate ice cream and I think Helen visited most of the gift shops here.
Finally we boarded the plane for home, it was three hours late. Photo by Helen
