The next day we decided to head up to Salt Point. This photo was taken from a turnout off the highway. The rock in the distance has an arch.

We stopped at Goat Rock at the Sonoma Coast State Beach.
An old piece of construction equipment on the beach with Sooz in the background.

Sooz on the rocks. There are a lot of great tide pools in the area, but it's high tide and we didn't get a chance to see them. Like to come back to this area and check them out one of these days.
The fog gave the scene a surreal look.
Close view of the rock formations.

This is far as we hike, to Stump Beach. We ate lunch on the little clear area overlooking the bay before heading back.
The next morning I helped Sooz toss out her Xmas tree before going out to breakfast.
Heading to the airport for the flight home. I think that this is the Richmond San Rafael bridge.
On the bottom deck of the bridge.
At the Oakland Airport, my plane was a little late. Should be boarding soon.
